| We can place you at any type of the house in any part of the Greater Vancouver, depending on your wishes and goals. You may stay next door to downtown and close to civilization, or you can try some place near mother nature - lakes with mountains and picturesque forests.
Mastering and practicing English is probably your other goal, so you may want to stay with the real Anglo Saxon family. However, in our humble opinion, you will be able to gain much more getting in touch with the ancestors of immigrants from Europe, Latin America, Asia, former Soviet Union. Their knowledge of English is not a bit worse. Besides and what is the most important thing you’ll be able to try some ethnic and really good food at the house of your host - a descendant from France, Italy, Germany, Russia, etc. When eating your delicious dinner/supper you’ll be able to share your impressions and adventures during the day and hear extremely interesting stories about how your host’s predecessors came to live in Canada, about their adventures, misfortunes and so on. Our fees are pretty reasonable. We charge a commission fee of $ 150 to place you in the household. We also can meet you at the airport at $ 45 and see you off after home stay is over at the same price. Home stay rent is negotiable and varies from $ 20 to 25 per night (prices are in Canadian funds). |
