Home stay and outdoor adventure go hand in hand, they are inseparable. You are not restricted to sitting at home all the time and definitely must take a good opportunity to explore the Greater Vancouver and its surroundings, well besides going to school. Needless to say, there are lots of things to see. However we recommend to carry out some outrageous outdoor adventure. You can take a hike at the mountains and come across grizzlies there, go kayaking, camping and biking, ride a horse, take a delta plane trip and jump with a parachute (!).
You like fishing? So take your chance and catch a trout or even a salmon. You may be lucky enough to find red caviar (roes) inside. Or, if you are a golf player, numerous golf courses are awaiting you! Also do not forget to go berry picking - local farms within half an hour drive from downtown Vancouver offer strawberries and raspberries u-pick. You can strike gold too and recall the times of the Great Gold Rush at the place called Fort Langley. As you can see, places of interest and adventure are innumerable in Vancouver and its vicinity.
